NT Greek MSS is a compilation of cataloged Greek Manuscripts of the New Testament. Each entry provides essential information for the selected manuscript such as ID, contents, date, material, folios, columns, lines per page, city, library, and call numbers. Apart from a searchable list of the manuscripts, three additional tabs categorize the manuscripts based on Date, Library, and Books of the NT. The Date tab enables users to select a century, subsequently displaying manuscripts cataloged for that particular century. For example: choosing the VI century will show V/VI, VI, and VI/VII century manuscripts. In the Libraries tab, cities are listed along with their respective libraries; selecting a library reveals available manuscripts along with their call numbers. The Books of the NT tab allows users to select a specific book of the NT, after which the app displays manuscripts containing content from that book.
Features:
- Search for NT MSS by GA number
- Explore by century groups
- Browse by city and library
- Filter by books of the NT
- Access links to online images (when available)
Besides the primary search options, links to online images are included where accessible. As more images become available daily, these links are continuously updated. To view online images, simply tap "show image", and the app will redirect you to Safari displaying the relevant website hosting the image. Note: Image sizes may be substantial and could consume significant data unless using wifi.
If you have information about image links to share, please email us at hcnttsapp@nobts.edu with details on the manuscript and link. We will gladly incorporate these in upcoming updates. Furthermore, as new manuscripts are published and cataloged, we will ensure the list is kept current.
Our aim is to offer a valuable app completely free of charge to assist the NT TC community in its studies. Any suggestions or corrections can be directed to hcnttsapp@nobts.edu. For further details, please visit our website here.
